Gian Balsamo
Gian Balsamo is a Joyce scholar and an expert on the Bible and religious doctrine. He is the author of Joyce’s Messianism (2004), Rituals of Literature (2004), and Scriptural Poetics in Joyce’s Finnegans Wake (2002). He is also a creative writer, author of a collection of apocrypha: Lettera alla Venere in Pelliccia (1993). He is currently writing a book on love and memory, devoted especially to Marcel Proust’s In Search of Lost Time.
