Christine Anderson

Christine Anderson joined the law department as law librarian and associate professor in September 2006. She teaches legal practice, international water law and international environmental law.

Prior to joining AUC, Anderson was director of the law library and assistant professor of law at DePaul University in Chicago where she taught Legal Research and Writing as well as Domestic Relations. She served as Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Law at Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles as well as Director of Legal Communications Skills. She served as Director of the Law Library and Associate Professor of Law at City University of New York Law School at Queens College. She received her B.S. in History and her M.L.S. in Library Science from the University of Illinois in Champaign, and her J.D. from DePaul University in Chicago.

Anderson has been a frequent member of law school inspection teams for accreditation of law schools by the American Bar Association and the American Association of Law Schools. She has also worked as a consultant in the design and renovation of law libraries. Her area of special interest includes administration of law schools and law libraries, as well as water and environmental law.
