Exemption Exam for RHET 102 and 103
The Registrar will have sent you a letter indicating whether you are eligible to sit for the Exemption exam. The exam will take place on the first day of classes from 9:00 am to 12 noon in the Main Auditorium of the Bassily Building. The results will be announced by 3 pm on the same day and students should check the bulletin boards outside the department to find out if they are eligible to sit for the second part of the exam being given the following day.
There will be no make-up exam for the Exemption Exam.
Attention!
Make sure to check your course schedule again before you attend your 100 level writing classes. The Department of Rhetoric and Composition reserves the right to move you from one section into another in order to even out the student numbers in the sections for that course. The final section allocations and class lists will be posted outside the Department of Rhetoric and Composition on the 8th floor of Academic Center One the day before classes start.
(Students who are new to the program should check out our FAQ page for detailed information about our courses and policies.)
