Hend Nashaat, Mathematics major, graduated in Spring'08 with high distinction as well as receiving Ahmed Zewail’s Prize. Hend is going to Oxford for a Master degree in Mathematics in September'08, under a full scholarship.
Ismail Elnaggar, Double major Computer Science and Mathematics, worked for McKinsey & Company in Dubai for two and a half years and is currently working in Vodafone Egypt's strategy department.
Lara El Sherif, Mathematics major, is currently doing her masters in Mathematics at George Washington University.
Hania Abdel Jalil, Actuarial Science major, has started working as an assistant actuary in Hannover Re, one of the leading reinsurance groups in the world. Hannover Re transacts all lines of non-life and life and health reinsurance. It maintains business relations with more than 5,000 insurance companies in about 150 countries. Hania is currently working in one of the group’s branches in Bahrain.
Basil Wagih, Actuarial Science major, worked with AC Nielsen , an American company in Egypt specialized in market research, information and analysis and is currently in the London School of Economics studying a one year Msc in Risk and Stochastics.
Mahitab Ashmawi, Actuarial Science major, has been hired immediately after her graduation by the central bank as a risk analyst in the risk department.
Nora Badra, double major Mathematics and Computer Science, has been hired immediately after her graduation by the leading global consulting firm Booz Allen. Nora has also been accepted at Cambridge University to do her masters in Applied Mathematics, but then decided for King's College, London, where she got a full scholarship.
Sherif Nashaat, Mathematics minor, is currently doing his PhD in Pure Mathematics at McGill University.
Ola Mahmoud, Mathematics major, currently doing a PhD in Cambridge, under a BP Scholarship.
Mohamed Atallah, Mathematics major, has obtained his Associate fellowship from the American Society of Actuaries and is well in his way to become a fellow. He is working as an actuary with the Egyptian Insurance Supervisory Authority (EISA). Atallah is the eleventh certified Egyptian Actuary.
