The Law Department aims to provide students with a global legal education and the necessary legal skills to understand and serve their societies.  It also aims at the creation of a stimulating academic environment to expand the students’ intellectual horizons, to develop their analytical and critical abilities and to further their creativity and self-development.
 
The Department of Law focuses on facilitating personal growth, leadership and excellence through strong student-faculty interaction and applied learning experiences, emphasizing each student’s unique needs and potential; fostering respect for differences among people in preparation for life and employment in a diverse global village.  

Two graduate degrees are offered with courses highly important to the development of Egypt and the region.
