About the Department
Consistent with the AUC mission, the Department of Chemistry is strongly committed to excellence. It prepares students for pursuing careers in chemistry and other related fields, or further education. This is achieved through a thorough understanding of, and an ability to use and apply, the fundamental principles and methods of chemistry within an overall liberal education system. The Department of Chemistry also strongly encourages research through collaboration with national and international universities and research centers.
