Personal, Retail and Consumer Banking is an important trend for major worldwide banks and financial institutions. The Program:
Retail Banking Strategies and Theories
This course is designed to introduce participants to the basics as well as the philosophy, concepts and theories of personal / retail / consumer banking. It also familiarizes them to the strengths and weaknesses of the internal culture & the opportunities and threats of this market.
Retail Banking Products & Multichannels
This course will enable participants to determine the different Personal / Retail / Consumer banking products: Liability products, Asset products and electronic banking products as well as the new means of multi-channels
Service Quality & Budgeting
This course emphasizes the vital importance of Service quality, targets and budgets
Consumer Lending Techniques & Management Tools
The course aims to familiarize the participants with the basic approach for assessing consumer lending techniques & applications & provide the guidelines for a structured lending decision. It also introduces the basis of effective management of the asset book.
Marketing Personal, Retail and Consumer Banking Products & Services
The participants will be introduced to the different marketing philosophies, concepts and theories, especially those that relate to banking and financial institutions in genera. They will also be able to conduct a market research, identify their target markets and adapt their products to meet their target markets’ needs, demands and expectations.
Successful Planning and Launching of a new Retail Product
Once an organization has made the commitment to quality, one of its first considerations is to assess how well its own products and processes meet customer needs. Quality planning should follow a structured process that is widely validated to significantly contribute to organizational success. The course will also provide all the members of the quality planning project team with the training necessary to participate in and carry out a project by performing project management activities.
Admission Requirements
• Participants must hold a bachelor degree in Commerce or any relevant discipline
• Participant must have good command of the English language
Certificates:
The Professional Designation is awarded to participants who complete the required six courses and achieved a score of at least 60 % in the final Exam at the end of the program. A Certificate of Attendance is awarded at the end of each course.
