Certified Business and Corporate Finance Specialist
This course enables the participants to understand and read the financial statements as an introduction to financial analysis for performance measurement and investment analysis purposes.
 
Securities Industry and Capital Markets
Participants will become familiar with the roles and functions of capital markets as well as the characteristics of the various types of securities and market regulations.
 
Economic, Industry and Financial Statement Analysis
Participants will be able to analyze financial ratios, perform cross sectional, trend and time series analysis. They will also be able to identify the economic and industry aspects that affect the performance of the firm under analysis.
 
Lending Rationales "Asset Conversion Cycle"
By the end of this course, the participant would acquire a clear understanding of the fundamentals of the “Asset Conversion Cycle” and be able to identify it and define its phases in various companies. Participants would also be able to judge the feasibility of arranging successful loans to finance the asset conversion cycle and evaluate the inherited risks associated with it.
 
Cash Flow Mechanics & Lending
This course is designed to equip participants with advanced tools in cash flow analysis. This course will familiarize its participants with a project cash flow (Initial, Operating, and Terminal) and how to calculate them with an emphasis on sales forecast and cash flow projection.
 
Time Value of Money and Capital Budgeting
The course will emphasize risk analysis, and the level of risk associated with the degree of certainty of the different cash flows and how to handle it. The course will focus also on the time value of money and capital budgeting techniques and study whether this is an acceptable project or not.
 
Advanced Corporate & Project Finance
This course enables participants to understand in depth the fundamentals of project analysis and finance. It also gives its participants the chance to discuss in details the concept of restructuring and the optimal capital structure, cost of capital., weighted marginal cost of capital and maximizing the value of the firm.
 
Investment Banking “IPO’s and Private Placement”
This course aims to emphasize on investment banker role. It covers the main concepts and principles of investment banking including underwriting, IPO’s, private placement and GDR’s.
 
Mergers and Acquisition
This course provides a concise overview of the merger and acquisition process. An anatomy of M& A deal will take place through a real life cases. The purpose of the course is to give the participant a solid understanding of how mergers and acquisitions work.
 
Admission Requirements
• Participants must hold a bachelor degree in Commerce or any relevant discipline.
• Participant must have good command of the English language.
• Participant will go through a placement exam as to assure minimum knowledge of English, Finance & Accounting.
 
Certification
The Professional Designation is awarded to participants who complete the required nine courses and got a score of at least 60 % average for the 2 exams the mid term & the final Exam at the end of the program. A Certificate of Attendance is awarded at the end of each course.
