The Curriculum Committee reviews, approves, and monitors curricula and programs. It is responsible for the contents of the AUC Catalog.

1)  The Committee will receive recommendations and review for consideration and recommendation matters of curricula and programs of instruction, especially as those affect the Catalog.

2)  The Committee will request of the deans of the academic schools, the vice president for continuing education, and others with pertinent administrative responsibility such information regarding curricula and programs of instruction as deemed necessary to fulfill its mandated monitoring responsibilities.

3)  The Committee will establish and maintain liaison with committees within the divisions of the University concerned with matters of curricula and programs of instruction.

4)  The Committee will report to the Faculty Senate as a whole its recommendation for Senate approval on matters of curricula, programs of instructions, and extension.  Whenever possible, such recommendation will be made within two weeks of the Committee’s receipt of documentation of proposals requiring action.
