The residence application for incoming AUC students will be available on this page beginning May 1st 2008 at 8:00 am until the 7th of September. The application is only available to students who have been accepted academically to the American University in Cairo. All applications must include a $300 housing deposit and a $25 non-refundable application fee.
Read the Financial and Social Regulations prior to completing and submitting the Residence Application Form. Be advised that upon assignment of space in an AUC residence based upon a submitted residence application, the application then serves as the Housing Contract. In case of withdrawals the refund and withdrawal policy will be applied as stated in the Financial and Social Regulations.
Instructions for filling out the residence application:
- Keep your AUC student identification number, passport/ssn and your credit card in hand.
- Complete the application form online.
- Submit the application.
- Pay the $325 using the e-pay service.
- You will receive a confirmation email with a reference number.

Please be advised the Office of Residential Life will contact each applicant with a housing assignment or wait list status within 15 business days of receipt of the housing contract and payment. Keep in mind the business week is Sunday through Thursday from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
