International Student Affairs (ISA)
The International Student Affairs Office (ISA) provides pre-arrival, orientation and support services to all AUC international students. The office also plans activities that reflect and celebrate the cultural diversity of AUC, and enhances integration among international students and community members.

ISA programs provide opportunities for international students (both degree-seeking and non-degree) to engage in significant intercultural and international educational experiences. The office strives to facilitate successful learning in a new environment while also fostering personal development.

For AUC students at large, the ISA programs offer opportunities to enhance awareness and appreciation of cultural differences and to promote international understanding.

ISA services include:

  • Orientation for new international students.
  • Cross-cultural adjustment to AUC campus and life in Cairo.
  • Programs and activities including trips, International Day and Show,
  • Ramadan Nights and more.
  • Faculty and peer mentor programs.
  • Crises and emergency management.
  • Daily advising on a variety of issues through listservs, newsletter LovEgypt and International students’ correspondence.
