SOL is a group of students who participate in the preparation and implementation of new international student orientation. SOL members are recruited, selected and trained by ISA staff to work in new international student orientation.

SOLs main responsibilities include the following:

- Participate in the preparation and implementation of the orientation for new international students including preparation of orientation material.
- Participate in mandatory training sessions.
- Assist and advise new international students in various issues in regards to AUC and Cairo.
- Organize and lead campus tours.
- Assist with the preparation of orientation material.
- Organize various events for international students.
- Facilitate the collection of orientation evaluation.

Requirements:

- Undergraduate (junior status or above) and Graduate students
- Minimum GPA 3.00
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Demonstrated experience working or interacting with other cultures
- Resourceful and knowledgeable about AUC and Cairo community
