The undergraduate research conference gives students the opportunity to present their academic research -- both oral and visual -- in a professional setting, explore issues of contemporary interest, exchange perspectives with colleagues, faculty and noted professionals, and through interdisciplinary dialogue, contribute to making Egypt a better place. By publishing their research findings in the undergraduate research journal, students can contribute to and build on the existing body of knowledge within their fields, while gaining a better understanding of the conventions of writing and publications in their particular disciplines.
