David Levine

David Levine (1926–2009), an illustrator and caricaturist, served on the staff of the New York Review of Books for more than forty years. His drawings have also been published in TIME, Newsweek, Esquire, Playboy, the New Yorker, New York Magazine, and the Nation. His works are in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum, the Library of Congress, the Cleveland Museum, the National Portrait Collection, and England’s National Portrait Gallery.
