Faculty Retreat '12
Second Annual Retreat 2012
AUC’s School of Business held its second annual retreat over a period of two days in Movenpick Ain El Sukhna, May 2012, welcoming faculty and staff members, as well as their spouses and families. The event aimed at providing an opportunity for the school’s stakeholders to interact and socialize on a personal level.
The aim of the trip was to create a more comfortable and welcoming environment amongst the school’s staff and faculty members in order to establish a more hospitable workplace.
The two-day program included team-building exercises conducted by the Aspire Team, various games and activities, as well as an animation team for children and toddlers.
On the final day, an awards ceremony was held to recognize faculty and staff members for their outstanding contributions to the school during the 2011 - 2012 academic year. Additionally, recipients of the Faculty Development Fund were rewarded for their publications in highly ranked journals
